BEONIT was at Design Week Marbella from 22 to 28 September 2022 at the Conference Centre in Marbella. This event is a benchmark in architecture and interior design in Spain.
Juanjo Jiménez, founder of Estudio Baelo, artist, designer and PhD in Fine Arts, had a booth showcasing a magnificent table he designed for BEONIT. The piece was designed with a sculptural base and his artistic commitment played a fundamental role in the creative process. The three irregular marble shapes Juanjo created for the top establish a unifying conceptual dialogue between spaces.
The metal structure and veining on Mesa Baelo run across the vertical and horizontal planes and breathe in empty spaces. The combination of shapes inspires creative discourses in the viewer: separation, union, strength, balance.
BEONIT also had another backlit marble piece on display: a coffee table that combines two opposing stone textures to create a beautiful contrast, a unique look and the dual function of surface and lighting element.
